He says that it was his grandfathers and he bought it new back in the 1920's or 1930's. 2016 Acura Mdx Service Manual download. It has been inside an old barn for the last 60 years and he says that he remembers his grandfather using it in the 1940's. It is in fantastic shape, just covered in a lot of dust. All of the paint on it is original and all the decals and its pin striping are also. The wood is in great shape and is not rotten anywhere that I could tell. He even has all the canvas's for it.

I could not believe my eyes when i walked into the barn to look at it. He is wanting to sell it and is asking $500, his reasoning for that price is so the scrap buyers wouldn't get at it. I would like to try and find out the year of manufacture on it if that is at all possible.

Here are some patent dates from the binder. 119 1650369 I also found the number 4702 on the frame of the binder if that at all helps in dating it. Does anyone know of a place to look for info of these old John Deere Grain Binders? It would be great to know what years these types of binders where made.

I looked on jdparts.com and they dont have a pdf for this type of binder. I am thinking about purchasing it and would like to know what you all on here think. I have one very much like that one, if not the same model, just not in as nice of shape. I can tell you this though, the last patent number, 1650369 was issued 11/22/27 and it was for the 'packer support' on the binder.
