Tom - I have the ZF Hurth 450A 1:5:1 transmission. The dealer I bought the boat from told me to change the Dexron fluid every 100 hrs, though he made no mention of either a filter or a zinc. He also recommended changing the fluid TWICE each 100-hr interval – i.e., drain it out, put new fluid in, run it, put it into gear briefly, then repeat – although I don't really understand why.
