I use Chevron synthetic 75/90 in all 'Yota differentials from 4fg through 8fg. I don't know how parts availabilty will be from Toyota on a 2fg. I have trouble getting some 5fg parts.engine and trans parts are available but other parts have been out of production for a while. Nolfs or IMPCO should have the parts available.

Its a 5R engine and yes I am struggling with parts. I have manged to locate a parts catalog for that is on its way across the pond (im in Scotland). I am hoping that will have a few diagrams that at least will allow me to see how to take it apart, without making stupid (read costly) mistakes. Thanks for the fluids info that helps me while I wait for the catalog.
